Last month, the Folio: Eddie & Ozzie Awards in New York City honored Heifer International, along with design team Bates Creative Group, by naming World Ark the winner of Best App, Association/Nonprofit.
This is the fifth award the World Ark Tablet App has received. World Ark was the first development nonprofit to launch a magazine tablet app with its first issue in November 2012.
Since its launch, the World Ark App has been named App of the Week by Adobe and has been recognized by min: Best of the Web and the EXCEL Awards. News and media outlets have also covered the World Ark App, including Mashable, Adobe, and PR Newswire.
