Heifer Attached to New Series about Social Good

Heifer is happy to be part of "Operation Change," a 10-part docu-series about one family’s quest to make the world a better place for everyone

The series, which premieres tonight on OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network, follows Starkey Hearing Foundation co-founders Bill & Tani Austin and their son Steven Sawalich from Starkey Hearing Technologies, as they team up with other philanthropists, volunteers and celebrities to tackle some of the most challenging issues plaguing the globe.

In each episode, a team of volunteers, celebrities and philanthropists visit some of the most dangerous and impoverished regions to tackle some of the world’s most challenging issues. The series will visit Colombia, Ethiopia, Haiti, India, Israel & Palestine, Lebanon, Malaysia, Papua New Guinea, South Africa and Tanzania.

While Heifer won't be featured in tonight's episode about Haiti, our work is highlighted on the Operation Change website. The series also gives viewers the chance to get involved.
