Through diversified farming techniques learned from Heifer International, Osvaldo Clavo has achieved year-round food security and improved income for his family in Cajarmarca, Peru. Osvaldo used to grow only coffee, but being dependent on one income source is risky, as pests can invade crops and coffee prices can drop. Now, with guinea pigs, honeybees and a biogarden, Osvaldo's family has multiple sources of income and nutrition.
