At Heifer, we believe everyone deserves an opportunity to achieve dignity and self-reliance. We work to provide sustainable gifts of livestock, agricultural training and other resources to those in need around the world. But we can’t do it alone. We work with others who share our vision of a world free of hunger and poverty.
That’s where you come in. We work with volunteers each year who make our work possible.
Heifer Ranch offers those wanting to gain experience in sustainable agriculture the opportunity to live and learn on our site. Volunteers at the Ranch work and live on our campus for three to eleven months working in our organic garden, raising pastured livestock and in our farm-to-table kitchen.
AS A VOLUNTEER, YOU MAY:
Volunteers must be 18 or older and must pass a background check. For more information, email email@example.com or visit our Facebook page. Volunteers serve 40 hours per week in exchange for on-site housing, a small living stipend and hands-on experience.
There are plenty of ways you can support Heifer's mission right where you are! We do not offer international volunteer opportunities.
Volunteers must be 16 and older. Volunteers under age 18 must be chaperoned by an adult at in-person events.
