Benefits of Solar Power
Increased Incomes
When cooperatives introduce solar-powered initiatives, such as milk chilling centers, the reduced costs and waste lead to higher earnings for all farmers involved.
Access to Water
Through solar-powered wells or irrigation pumps, communities will gain easy access to water, allowing them to increase their crop yields and improve their sanitation.
Your Impact
Access to electricity touches almost all aspects of a farmer’s life. And yet 760 million people still live without it. In rural communities, solar power provides a sustainable and affordable alternative.
