How to Donate to Receive A Tax Break

1. Go to our Gift Catalog and select any animal or item, or choose Give Where Needed Most.
2. Decide how much you’d like to donate and click Add to Basket, then Continue to Checkout.
3. Click Continue to Checkout or PayPal Checkout to process your payment.
4. Proceed through the Billing Information and Payment Information screens.
5. After you donate through our website, you'll receive your tax receipt in an email. If you mail your donation, we will mail your receipt to you at the address you provide with your donation. If you have trouble with this process, contact Heifer’s Donor Services team for help.
6. Know that you just changed the world for the better and helped end hunger and poverty.
