It's November 1, which means we're inching closer and closer to the gift giving holidays. Did you know that as many as 79 percent of Americans have indicated that they would rather receive a gift given in their name than something they just don't need? That's right. We'll be talking more about that in the next couple of months, and we will also be highlighting the various gifts Heifer offers as an alternative to those that come from department stores, toy bins or electronics companies.
It's a marvelous thing to be able to give a gift that can literally change a life. The Heifer menagerie certainly has that capability.
