Because of your kindness, Heifer’s Women’s Empowerment and Entrepreneurship project in Guatemala has helped countless women forge brighter futures for their families and entire communities! Here’s a little more on the impact you’re making on one project participant, Juana Chavez.

Your generosity has given Juana a promising new path in life. After receiving 65 chicks and training on how to best care for them, Juana has set up a thriving egg business and is a pillar in her community.

Empowered by Heifer, Juana is learning how to enhance her chickens’ diet to improve the quality and size of their eggs so she can raise her prices.

With the money she earns, Juana can feed her children nutritious food and ensure they have a good education. Because of you, Juana now has much to be proud of. She’s able to pass on her expertise and experience to other women so they, too, can give their families a bright, hopeful future.
