Your Bees Are Making a Life-Changing Impact!

Thank you for gift of bees! Because of your kindness, Heifer’s Leveraging Success project in Honduras has created nearly 8,000 beekeeping jobs! Here’s a little more on the impact you’re making on one participant, Leonids Lemos.

Leonids once tried to grow coffee to make a living, but his crops attracted too many bees. He attended a Heifer training hoping we could help him get rid of the bees … instead, he learned how to transform this problem into a life-changing career!

Through this project, Leonids was introduced to beekeeping and began producing high-quality honey. He learned how to increase his bee population and hive production and improve the quality of his honey and beeswax.

Because of you, Leonids now has much to be proud of. Today, he has almost 200 hives and hopes to have at least 500 by year-end!
