Thank you for gift of cows! Because of your kindness, Heifer is helping many dairy farmers in Kenya improve their businesses. Here’s a little more on the impact you’re making on one project participant, Sylvania Monthe.

Your generosity has transformed Sylvania’s dairy hobby into a successful dairy business! After struggling for years to raise dairy cattle, Heifer’s Food for All project trained Sylvania as a Peer Farmer Trainer (PFT) where she learned all about raising strong and healthy cows.

All these changes helped Sylvania’s herd produce more milk — around 6 gallons of milk per day! Now, Sylvania’s cows produce enough milk for her to feed her family and sell for an income, and she hopes to have a herd of 30 in 5 years.

With the money she earns, Sylvania can send all three of her children to school to get a great education. Because of you, Sylvania now has much to be proud of. She’s able to educate her family and community on her heifer expertise so that they, too, can give their families a bright, hopeful future.
