Heifer Village public events educate your family about other cultures and global issues. Check out our Heifer Village events calendar often to see all the activities scheduled.

Unless otherwise stated, events are free, open to all ages, and you may drop in at any time during the event hours.

Heifer Hour Activities

Second Saturday of the Month

Drop in any time throughout the day to have some fun at our Heifer Hour activity table. Heifer Hour features a fun activity to inspire kids and their parents to help end hunger and poverty while caring for the Earth.  Activities are geared for children K-5 and all materials are provided. Come and enjoy interactive family fun!

Living Gift Series: come learn about some of the wonderful animals that Heifer gives to families around the world!

January 9 - Water Buffalo - Puppet

February 13 - Sheep - Fingerprint Craft

March 12 - Rabbits - Bunny Mask

April 9 - Chickens - Clothespin Chicks

May 4 - Bees - Make your own honeycomb

Volunteer Recruitment Reception

Want to help change the world? Learn about volunteering for Heifer while visiting with our volunteers and staff during a reception with refreshments, cash bar, door prizes and tours of our exhibits and green international headquarters. This event is open only to those 18 years of age or older.
