Heifer Village public events educate your family about other cultures and global issues. Check out our Heifer Village events calendar often to see all the activities scheduled.

Unless otherwise stated, events are free, open to all ages, and you may drop in at any time during the event hours.

Heifer Hour Activities

11 a.m., the second Saturday of the month.
Children and their parents can enjoy a new activity every month. Heifer Hour features a craft, game, children’s book or outdoor activity to help teach kids about caring for the Earth and for other people. Activities are geared for children K-5. All materials are provided by Heifer.

January 10 - South America - Bolivia - Pigs

Make a Muddy Pig to take home. 

February 14 - North Armerica 0 Guatemala - Rabbits

Celebrate Valentine's day with us by decorating maracas to take home.

March 14 - South America - Peru - Llamas

Make a cloths pin llama to take home.

April 11 - North America - Farming

Create a plant life cycle wheel to take home. 

Beyond Hunger: Communities of Change
