When Kurt Braunohler first dreamt up a way to combine his passion for jet skiing and desire to make the world a better place friends questioned his sanity, and even those of us at Heifer were left scratching our heads.

His goal was to raise $50,000 for goats and chickens to help Heifer families in Africa. His seven day journey jet skiing down the mighty Mississippi river began in Chicago and ended in New Orleans with famous friends like Wyatt Cenac and Kristen Schaal joining him along the way. So far he has raised more than $34,000.

His crazy adventure, including officiating a wedding ceremony while on jet ski, can be seen in the upcoming “Roustabout” series launching on Comedy Central’s website Monday, Jan 26. In the meantime, below is a sneak peak.

And if you want to help support Kurt and his goal to help families in Africa, you can give a goat today.
