The ONE Partnership You Need to Know About This Year

We are excited to announce Heifer International is joining forces with The ONE Campaign in the fight to end extreme poverty.

Heifer works with the smallholder farmer. ONE is a campaigning and advocacy organization of more than 3.5 million people taking action to end extreme poverty and preventable disease, particularly in Africa. Both organizations believe that agriculture – and the education and empowerment of girls and women – are key to success.

Some of ONE’s proudest accomplishments include:

• Playing a key role in ensuring the G8’s continuing financial commitments to the fight against extreme poverty and disease, particularly in Africa
• Helping secure more than $100 billion in debt relief for poor countries
• Helping develop, pass, and secure funding for life-saving global health programs including The Global Fund to Fight AIDS, TB and Malaria and the President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR) 

Heifer has set 22.6 million families on a path toward prosperity by giving them the tools and training they need to sustain their lives. 

This partnership will bring together the advocacy of ONE and the programmatic impact and implementation of Heifer International. Supporters of both organizations can make a real difference in ending extreme poverty.
