Join Us For Heifer Hour!
diy scarecrow
We're making scarecrows. Get it???

It's that time again! Local friends, join us at Heifer Village for Heifer Hour on Saturday, October 12th from 11am to 12pm! Need directions? Click here!

Hint: this month's activity is for the birds, but in a good way.

Can't make it? Don't worry, you can DIY! Here's how:

What you'll need:
  • brown paper bag
  • newspaper
  • construction paper
  • 2 googly eyes
  • glue
  • scissors
  • tape

Follow these steps:
  1. Use the newspaper to stuff your brown paper lunch bag. Be careful not to stuff it too full! Tape the top of the bag closed.
  2. Cut out shapes from your construction paper to make the face. If the muse isn't giving you inspiration, use this template.
  3. Glue your construction paper and googly eyes on the bag. Ta-da! Scarecrow!

Hope to see you next Saturday!
