Media Advisory: Join Heifer International’s ‘Communities of Change’ Event in Atlanta

What: This year marks both the 70th anniversary of Heifer International and the United Nations proclamation of 2014 as the International Year of Family Farming. To recognize both of these, Heifer International is hosting Beyond Hunger: Communities of Change Atlanta.

Where: The Carter Center, 453 Freedom Pkwy NE, Atlanta, GA 30307

When: Saturday, October 4, 2014, from 7-9 p.m.
            7-8 p.m.: Informal drop in to view educational exhibits and video
            8-9 p.m.: Speakers including Heifer International president and CEO, Pierre Ferrari; Heifer Foundation President, Ardyth Neill; President of the Southern Association of Independent Schools, Dr. Steve Robinson; and keynote presentation by Heifer Vice President of Africa Programs, Elizabeth Elango Bintliff.
