Join Us for a Weekend Honoring Family Farmers and Their Work to End Hunger and Poverty

What:  Family farmers have long been the foundation of thriving communities and societies. We believe it is no different today and that they hold the solution to ending hunger and poverty. At this event, Beyond Hunger: Communities of Change, we celebrate 70 years of work with family farmers on the manicured grounds of the Texas Discovery Gardens. The evening will feature special guest speaker Hervil Cherubin, Heifer Haiti Country Director, who will be talking about the progress of Heifer’s work in Haiti.

Where:  Texas Discovery Gardens; 3601 Martin Lunch King Jr. Blvd. Dallas

When:   Friday, September 18 at 7:00 p.m.
                7-8 p.m.: Enjoy the beautiful scenery, light dessert refreshments and videos on Heifer’s work
                8-9 p.m.: Hervil Cherubin, Heifer Country Director, Haiti, special guest speaker
