Jit was forced to marry a much older man when she was just 16. They had five sons together, but two died in infancy. She then lost her husband, becoming a widow and a single mother of three while watching her already low social status evaporate. Shunned and burdened by poverty, she knew she must do something to create a better future for her family. Step by step, she rebuilt her life and emerged as a thriving entrepreneur who now generously shares her wealth.
