On Friday, September 25, the United Nations General Assembly officially adopted the Sustainable Development Goals. These are 17 goals, which replace the Millennium Development Goals, and which will guide global development efforts for the next 15 years.
These goals are important to Heifer International, because they will help shape the context within which we work. We are encouraged to see our work mirrored in the goals.
