Worldbuilders raised $682,425 for Heifer this year in another incredible fundraiser! A HUGE thank-you to Worldbuilders and all the donors and supporters that made this possible.
Here are a five of our favorite moments from this year:
1. Patrick Rothfuss (the NYT Bestselling author that started Worldbuilders 8 years ago) shares his thoughts on kids, dragons, empathy and the future of Worldbuilders in a Twitter chat:
#AskPat Dragons are good eating, but I worry they wouldn't work very well as part of a farm... Fewments as fertilizer? @HeiferCEO @Heifer

#AskPat Kids get a bad rap for being selfish. The truth is, they're naturally empathic. All humans are. People are inherently good. @Heifer

#AskPat I want Worldbuilders to become so big that people say, "Why are you screwing around with writing? Why aren't you doing charity?" (2)

2. All of the individuals and groups who were inspired to start their own fundraisers under the umbrella of Worldbuilders–Charlotte here knocked it out of the park!
3. The many musical and poetic interludes, including Neil Gaiman performing The Jabberwocky.
And Molly Lewis adorably performing "The Pumpkin Spice Lament"
4. All of the amazing prizes that will be arriving in donors' mailboxes in the next few weeks!
