Join Heifer USA at Ozark Alternatives Farm in Lowell, Arkansas, to learn about small-scale Certified Organic and Certified Naturally Grown vegetable production, the rewards and challenges of starting a farm business, and what resources and knowledge are needed to get started or to scale up an existing operation.
Workshop participants are encouraged to arrive by 5:00 p.m. Light refreshments will be provided. The presentation will begin at 5:30 p.m. A farm tour will begin at 7:00 p.m., and the program will conclude by 8:00 p.m. Participants who attend the entire workshop will receive a Heifer USA Certificate of Completion.
