Since receiving support and training from Heifer International, Set is raising healthier chickens, she has become a cooperative leader, and she is able to provide her family with a much-needed boost in nutrition.

    • Designing our projects with women in mind
    • Gender equity training, changing cultural norms and beliefs
    • Directly giving women access to training, resources, support, markets and credit
    • Encouraging women to form and join self-help groups
    • Helping women elevate themselves into leadership positions
