What: This year marks both the 70th anniversary of Heifer International and the United Nations proclamation of 2014 as the International Year of Family Farming. To recognize both of these, Heifer International is hosting Beyond Hunger: Communities of Change at Heifer Ranch. This family friendly event will feature farm animals, Global Village, cheese making demonstrations and speakers. Celebrate what has been accomplished together, while looking ahead to how we can continue to partner to create a more just and sustainable world.
