LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (Feb. 3, 2012) The QBE Foundation, the philanthropic arm of the Australian based international insurance company of the same name, recently made a generous donation to Heifer International. Heifer is honored to be among several other recipients, chosen by QBE employees, as one of the first charities to receive this grant. The $100,000 check was presented to Barbara Morgan, Major Gifts Officer for Heifer International, by John Rumpler, President and CEO, QBE the Americas, at QBE's New York City Offices.
The QBE Foundation, created in 2011, supports charitable organizations through direct discretionary grants meeting the foundation's objectives.
