Beyond Hunger: Communities of Change
May 17 1 p.m. – 4 p.m.
Explore the Global Village, gardens and livestock barns while participating in interactive activities to learn about the work that Heifer has accomplished in the last 70 years, as well as how we are scaling up our impact to end hunger and poverty and care for the Earth. The day will culminate with a 70th Anniversary birthday celebration featuring cake, ice cream and a performance by the blues band The Rusty Mikes!

Global Harvest Festival
October 4 & 5 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.
Enjoy a festive celebration that features Heifer’s Global Village where you can tour international homesteads, taste food from other countries, and meet the farm animals. Other hands-on activities like churning butter, roasting coffee, and digging potatoes will be on-going throughout the day.
You can also hop on a hay ride to our pumpkin patch, eat a delicious, farm-fresh lunch, or bring your own picnic. Face painting, potato sack races, scavenger hunts and more family-fun activities and crafts are packed into this globally themed and one-of-a-kind fall festival.
Admission is only $10 per vehicle, so guests are encouraged to fill a whole bus load! This event is held rain or shine.
Living Gift Market
December 6, 7, 13, & 14 11 a.m. - 4 p.m.
What do you buy the person who has everything? How about a goat, a llama or a water buffalo? At Heifer International’s Living Gift Market, learn how sponsoring animals like these can provide food and income for hungry families. You get a handsome card to give and a hungry family gets hope. Take pictures with the animals and purchase gifts from around the world in our fair-trade Shop@Heifer. Enjoy hot cocoa and cider, make gingerbread animal cookies and warm yourself by a bonfire.
Admission: Canned goods which will be donated to a local food bank.
