During the lambing season, women from across the country visit Heifer Ranch to participate in a unique agriculture education program that focuses on the birth of kids and lambs. Participants will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in the daily life of a demonstration farm while learning basic animal husbandry skills and Heifer's work around the world. The activities throughout the program help participants understand and appreciate the lives of those helped by Heifer.
Guests will stay on Heifer Ranch in a climate-controlled lodge with two people to a room. Each room includes towels, bed linens and a private bathroom. Meals are served cafeteria-style in the dining hall.
