Heifer Village's public events are designed to educate your family about other cultures and global issues while having a lot of fun. Check out our Heifer Village events calendar often to see all the activities that you won't want to miss.

Events that require reservations have admission fees, age restrictions and set begin and end times. Events that do not require reservations are free, open to all ages and you may drop-in at any time during the event hours.

December 3, 2011 - Celebration of Living Gifts
Time:10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

  • Animals from Heifer Ranch will be featured in the Alternative Gifts Marketplace and available for photo opportunities.
  • What's in a Photo - create a unique photo frame to take home or give to someone special
  • Shop@Heifer – Find unique fair-trade items from around the world along with Heifer books and merchandise.
  • Animals Around the World- play the Heifer mapping game, and guess what animals are used in what countries
  • Alternative Gift Coupon Book - create your own alternative gift coupon book to use throughout the year.
  • Listen to a live radio broadcast from B98.5
  • Watch the Gloryland Children's Choir perform from 11:00 a.m.-11:30 a.m.

Spring Family Days – 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
