DAY PROGRAMS
Two and a Half Hour Programs - (Pre-K to Adults)
Learn how Heifer is improving millions of lives around the world through this basic introduction to Heifer's work.
Four to Five Hour Programs - (4th-12th Grades)
Explore culture, food systems and/or sustainable agriculture.
Seven Hour Program - (6th-12th Grades)
Learn about Heifer's work and help us with our farm chores.
ONE- TO TWO-NIGHT PROGRAMS
Global Gateway - (6th Grade and Older)
Global Gateway creates an existence in which nothing – shelter, food, water or cooking fuel – can be taken for granted. Participants prepare a meal with limited resources and sleep in simple housing.
FOUR- TO FIVE-NIGHT PROGRAMS
Alternative Break and Summer Action - (6th Grade and Older)
Our alternative break programs combine experiential learning programs, such as the Global Gateway experience and team building, with service activities. The service allows participants to give back while experiencing daily farm chores.
