Overlook Farm Day Programs

Each Overlook Farm day program includes an introduction to Heifer International and a guided walking-tour of the Heifer Global Village and Overlook Farm. Review each program below to find the program that fits your group's needs the best.

Basic Overlook Farm Tour – All Ages
Learn how Heifer is improving millions of lives around the world.
Available Dates: Offered Monday-Sunday year-round.
Rates: Please contact the reservations office for pricing information, prices include a Heifer video and a guided walking tour.
 

Animal Connections – All Ages
Learn about the many benefits animals provide while you spin wool, milk a goat or groom livestock. Hands-on activities vary based on your group size and the time of year that you visit.
Available Dates: Offered on select dates each fall, winter and spring.

Seeds – 4th to 12th Grades
This program rotates your group through educational stations including a global village meal, hands-on learning at village sites, livestock interactions and garden activities. In just a few hours, your group will cover a broad spectrum of activities at Overlook Farm to discover the concepts of development and sustainability.

Day Camp

Campers in grades 1-6 learn about Heifer's sustainable approach to ending hunger and poverty and the challenges their global neighbors face while learning more about world cultures and enjoying activities like milking livestock, harvesting vegetables, games and arts and crafts.

DAY CAMP PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS
Ages: 7 - 12 years old
Maximum Capacity: 32 children per week
Available Dates: April 15-19, June 17-21, 24-28, July 8-12, 15-19, 22-26, 29-Aug 2, Aug 5-9, 12-16

Rates: $200 (must be paid in full to register, payment is nonrefundable).Prices include five days of program activities including a Global Village Meal one day. Campers must bring a sack lunch all other days. Download our Registration Packet for more information on our Day Camp program.
Camp Hours: 9:00 am to 4:00 pm each day
Extended Care Options: 8:30 – 9:00 am ($25 per week), 4 – 5:30 pm ($50 per week)
