Women's Lambing enables participants to immerse themselves in the daily rhythms of a working farm while learning basic animal husbandry skills with specific focus on the birthing process of goats, sheep, swine, cattle, rabbits and the hatching of chicks. Paticipants will experience a blend of facilitated discussions, experiential learning activities, direct interaction and work with farm animals. It's a beautiful way to spend your spring vacation and learn more about how animals can help lift families out of poverty.

Will I definitely see a birth?
You will most likely see one species of animal give birth but there are no guarantees as Heifer Farm does not induce birth. The program provides a plethora of learning opportunities (and fun!) regardless of the births.

April: 3-6, 7-10,11-14 2013
Women's Lambing Registration
Participants: Women ages 14 (those under 18 must be accompanied by an adult) and older of all backgrounds and experiences.
Per Person Tuition Fees: $425 (due upon registration)
Tuition Fee Includes: Educational programming including work projects, shared lodging and meals (dinner the first night to breakfast the last day)
Cancellation Policy: 90 days or more before the program start date a 50% refund will be issued, 89 days or less from the start date no refund will be given
