Women's Lambing enables participants to immerse themselves in the daily rhythms of a working farm while learning basic animal husbandry skills with specific focus on the birthing process of goats, sheep, swine, cattle, rabbits and the hatching of chicks. Paticipants will experience a blend of facilitated discussions, experiential learning activities, direct interaction and work with farm animals. It's a beautiful way to spend your spring vacation and learn more about how animals can help lift families out of poverty.
Participants will experience a blend of facilitated discussions, experiential hands-on learning activities, direct interaction and work with farm animals, and the camaraderie of living and learning with a diverse group of women.
