Pass on the Gift Year-Round

Passing on the Gift is the cornerstone of Heifer’s approach. Everyone who receives a gift, be it a cow or seeds or training, agrees to pass it on to someone else in need, thereby multiplying the original gift.

At Heifer projects, Passing on the Gift is cause for celebration. To let you in on the excitement, Heifer declared April Pass on the Gift Month. Our first, in 2009, was a success, with dinners and celebrations around the world.

Read about some of the 270 Pass on the Gift Ceremonies held in 34 countries, where families that have received animals and training from Heifer pass on offspring to others in need. With your support, we will continue to help those in need year-round.
