Lifelong Learning Opportunities for Adults

At Heifer, plentiful opportunities exist for adults to become, through lifelong learning opportunities, more aware of how their behaviors and choices affect the rest of the world and to learn about the realities of hunger and poverty.

Get a Farm Fresh Education at Heifer Learning Centers

Live and learn from the farm by helping one of our Learning Centers complete their yearly projects. Programs are available at Heifer Ranch in Perryville, Arkansas and Overlook Farm in Rutland, Massachusetts.

Enroll at Heifer University

Heifer U is designed to provide a broad overview of Heifer's international development model. Participants are introduced to the programs and resources available through Heifer to help them in "Passing on the Gift" of knowledge and understanding. Heifer U complements the volunteer training programs offered by the regional offices. Explore Heifer U.

Travel with Purpose

Each year, Heifer invites supporters to register for a Heifer Study Tour to see Heifer project sites around the world.  These tours are small, specialized expeditions to places ordinary travelers never go, allowing a first-hand look at our model of sustainable development in action. More on life-changing Travel Opportunities.

Heifer Village

Heifer Village, in downtown Little Rock, offers a variety of lifelong learning opportunities for adults to explore values, attitudes and actions that can make a significant difference in their lives, their community and the lives of others around the world. View lifelong learning programs at Heifer Village.

Professional Development for Educators

Heifer provides educators with unique opportunities for professional growth and development. We believe that if educators are informed and energized about the world and their role in positive change, that influence is passed on to the students. Visit heifereducation.org to view professional development opportunities for teachers.
