Heifer Study Tours for Educators
Apply for a Heifer Study Tour for Educators and prepare for a life-changing experience. These one-week tours, led by Heifer staff, provide an inspiring, first-hand look at the work of Heifer International in Honduras. The trip gives participants the opportunity to learn about the root causes of hunger, poverty and environmental degradation and to interact with Heifer recipients. Ultimately you'll come away knowing how you can motivate your students to help build a better world.
In order to qualify as a candidate for consideration, all applicants must complete the Heifer Study Tour for Educators application and return it by March 15, 2010. Notifications concerning program acceptance will be sent out the week of April 5, 2010.
Summer 2010 Trips:
June 15-23 and June 23-July 1
Heifer Study Tours for Educators trains participants to develop leadership roles in their local Heifer School Programs. Some pre- and post- trip commitments are expected of all participants. Continuing Education
