Heifer’s education programs give teachers the resources to educate their students about their world neighbors, hunger and poverty and sustainable development while inspiring students to help Heifer build a better world. Our educational offerings include classroom resources, field trip opportunities, fundraising programs, professional development for educators and an award winning magazine.

Heifereducation.org – This site is loaded with lesson plans, videos, games and classroom activities designed for use in classes from Pre-K through eighth grades. Visit heifereducaton.org.

Global Education Resource Kits – Heifer’s new, global education resource kits are based on national educational standards for Pre-K through sixth graders and put a new spin on courses like English, geography, science and others. Posters, maps, videos and action ideas support and enrich the lesson plans. View and download the components or order your free kit here

Global Education to Improve Tomorrow (Get IT!) – Teach middle school students about their roles as consumers and the effects their choices have in the global marketplace, while emphasizing reading comprehension, audience-based writing, high-level thinking and research strategies.
