2009 International Fair

June 27 and 28 — 11 a.m. - 4 p.m.

Fun for the whole family.  A walk through the Heifer Global Village representing various areas of the world will immerse fair attendees in the sights, sounds and smells of these cultures and Heifer's global development efforts.  Enjoy Dale Perkins' Horse Show; music from local groups; horse-drawn hayrides and more.  Purchase organic foods or bring your own picnic. Admission: $5.00 per person / Children 12 and under are free! Download Flyer.

2009 Harvest Festival 
  

October 3 and 4 — 11 a.m. - 4 p.m.

Explore the homes in the Heifer Global Village to learn about traditional harvest celebrations in Peru, Poland, Kenya and more. Take a horse-drawn hayride to the gardens and enjoy other activities such as face painting, crafts and a hay maze. Purchase local pumpkins and browse Shop@Heifer that features fair trade and unique hand-crafted items from around the world. Throughout the day, learn about Heifer International as you meet many of Heifer’s animals including water buffalo, a yak, llamas and traditional farm animals such as pigs and goats.
 Admission: $5.00 per person / Children 12 and under are free.  (A fee will also be charged for food and pumpkins.)

2009 Celebration of Living Gifts 
December 12 and 13  — 11:00 - 4:00 p.m.

What do you buy the person who has everything?  How about a goat, a llama or a water buffalo?  At Heifer International's Celebration of Living Gifts, learn how sponsoring animals like these can provide food and income for hungry families. You get a handsome card to give and a hungry family receives hope for a better future. Take pictures with the animals and purchase gifts from around the world in our fair-trade Shop@Heifer. Enjoy hot cocoa and cider, make gingerbread animal cookies and warm yourself by a bonfire. Admission: Canned goods which will be donated to a local food bank.
