Your company may be Passing on a Gift of its own - with an Employee Matching Gift Program. These kinds of corporate programs give you the chance to double or, in some cases, even triple your tax-deductible contribution.
Find out now if your company will match your Heifer donation.
When you get to the site, do the following:
- Type in the name of your company and click submit
- Select the name of your company from the search list
- Look for these categories in the Non-Education Institution section:
- Environmental/conservation groups
- Humanities organizations
- Social service organizations
How does Employee Match work?
If you see that your company offers a Matching Gift Program, obtain a form and guidelines from your human resources personnel. Then fill in the employee section and mail it, along with your donation, to:

Heifer will verify receipt of your gift and send it to your company for completion. Your employer will then send its matching donation back to Heifer. Some companies disburse matching gifts on a quarterly or annual basis. If you have any questions about the match, please contact your human resources department.
