Global Challenge at Heifer Ranch
Two or Three-Night Program; 6th Grade – College Age
Check Availability. Request a reservation.

Global Challenge combines the Global Gateway experience with team-building exercises. Participants spend one night in the Heifer Global Village and one or two nights in the Heifer Hilton, an open-air bunk barn.
Global Gateway - For one night, Global Gateway participants experience the daily struggles people in poverty face everyday to simply feed their family a meager meal. Participants are given little – just some rice, vegetables and eggs – and before they can eat, they must find a way to build a fire and cook their meal. The challenge continues on into the night as they sleep in simple housing, such as a bamboo Thailand home. By living the lessons of poverty first-hand, participants come to understand the complications surrounding hunger and poverty and see their connection in creating change that brings possibility and hope to millions around the world.
Team-building Activities - Participants explore environmental and hunger related issues through globally themed team-building initiatives. Your group will build communication, critical thinking and group cooperation skills while discovering that they have the power to change the world.
