Heifer does amazing work throughout the world, here are a few examples. The stories are searchable by continent or country.

Bilkis, once only engaged in household chores, has changed her life, thanks to her participation in a Heifer project in her Bangladesh village and training in Heifer's 12 Cornerstones for Just and Sustainable Development. She has improved not only her own situation, but also the nutrition and welfare of her family. Furthermore, Bilkis is getting help for her son, who has been diagnosed with autism. This alone is enough to be inspired by, but she also is responsible for opening the first preschool in her village.
This rural family of six living in Armenia was struggling to meet day-to-day needs when they joined a Heifer project and received a pregnant cow, which provides additional income and food to ease the family's burden.
Salma, who lived in extreme poverty and was very unhappy with her life, joined a women's group and Heifer project in November 2008 in Bangladesh, and slowly her life began to change.
On April 12, 2013, Eton House International School in Chengdu, China, celebrated the successful completion of Heifer's Read to Feed program. Eton House students, teachers and parents attended the closing ceremony.
On May 17, 2013, Heifer Haiti's Rural Entrepreneurs for Agricultural Cooperation (REACH) project surpassed this year's goal of training 60 Community Animal Health Workers (CAHWs) when a third group of 27 participants completed their training.
