A joint project proposal from Heifer Cambodia and Gender and Development for Cambodia was awarded about $1,441,720 by the European Union to implement the project, Promotion and Protection of Women’s Rights and Socio-Economic Empowerment, which aims to promote gender equality and women’s empowerment to participate in sustainable socio-economic development in Cambodia. |

The CARMAC project, launched in 2011, is showing positive results after just a year of implementation.
