Heifer currently provides over 30 types of animals to families in need in more than 40 countries, including the U.S.

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (May 17, 2013) – Heifer International’s President and CEO Pierre Ferrari will participate in The Chicago Council Symposium in Washington, D.C. on May 21. The one-day meeting brings together world leaders from science, business, philanthropy and development to discuss topics including future food demand. 

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (May 14, 2013) – Heifer International invites the public to attend free screenings of three of the films competing for Heifer International’s Social Impact Film Award. The screenings will take place on Friday, May 17, at Heifer Village, which neighbors the Clinton Presidential Library in downtown Little Rock.

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (May 2, 2012) – Beginning May 4, 2013 and lasting through the summer, children and their parents can enjoy a new activity every week at Heifer Village in downtown Little Rock. Each Tuesday and Saturday at 11:00 a.m., the Murphy Keller Learning Center (Heifer Village) will host “Heifer Hour” featuring a craft, game, children’s book or outdoor activity to help teach kids about caring for the Earth and for other people.
