There are a number of concurrent projects taking place in Haiti. The Small Holder Family Community Program is supported by multiple groups and has a primary focus on reforestation. The project has over one million trees that will be planted for a variety of purposes including providing food and fruit. Another project is a self help dairy project where 16 cows provided to a local community of 2,000 families provide milk to those families and children. A third project is the launch of three pure breed breeding centers that will improve the genetics of goats and goat meat.
