Heifer International asking others to give back on #GivingTuesday

Heifer is honored and extremely grateful that this year, Bill and Melinda Gates are highlighting our work to end world hunger through the #GivingTuesday site along with three other charities.

Heifer International Philippines Assessing Projects Hit by Haiyan

Heifer Disaster Training Credited with Saving Lives An assessment team from Heifer Philippines made contact with Heifer farmers in Ormoc, Calubian and Leyte reporting no loss of life from project families but significant or complete damage to homes and crops, and loss of livestock. Many families are crediting Heifer's Community Managed Disaster Risk Reduction (CMDRR) trainings with saving their lives during super typhoon Haiyan.

BBB offers advice for donating safely to Typhoon Haiyan relief efforts
