Charity begins at home. Since 1971, Arkansas has been home to Heifer International. From the headquarters in downtown Little Rock to Heifer Ranch in Perryville, this is where our heart lives. Heifer's third annual Beyond Hunger: Feast in the Field is a unique farm-to-fork event celebrating family farming around the world and raising funds to benefit Heifer projects in the United States.

Join us at Feast in the Field on May 30.

On one of Little Rock’s greenest landscapes, this outdoor event is held on the award-winning grounds of Heifer International’s headquarters.

Enjoy a family-style dinner featuring local foods prepared by local chefs while listening to local music and hear local farmers speak about their passion and experience for Heifer USA’s work. Your attendance helps support communities in Arkansas—all monies raised through the event go to Heifer USA. Dress in your all-white, casual attire and share an evening of local food and community spirit.

Don’t wait! Last year’s event sold out so get your tickets now.

The key to Heifer's work in the United States lies in the belief that small-scale farmers can feed their communities and revive our economy using the power of locally produced food. Home to the most fertile soil on Earth, Arkansas has the potential for small-scale agricultural wealth amid widespread poverty. By supporting Heifer USA, you:

  • Empower small-scale farmers by training them and connecting them to markets that sell healthy food.
  • Connect farmers with other growers throughout the state, creating cooperatives and mentoring relationships that improve farming methods and increase production.
  • Support the local food movement, keeping wealth in our community.
