On June 30, 2013, authors Greg Baines and Peter Rotundo launched new e-books and announced that profits will benefit Heifer China.

Peter Rotundo's The Elephant in the Room is a modern-day play, which was written specifically for a middle school in Shangai. It is a rewrite of Edmond Rostand's Cyrano de Bergerac.

It tells the story of a woman who writes for a Shanghai television show. And she is an extraordinary writer.

However, a strange deformity keeps her in solitude. She falls in love with an actor on the show, but so does the show’s beautiful star.

As an expat, Greg Baines spent over a decade in China. His works has been previously published, but now appear together for the first time.

Concrete Fish is a collection of short stories often written from a Chinese local’s point of view.

Both Rotundo and Baines are teachers at the Shanghai YK Pao School—a Heifer China Read to Feed partner school.
