Buy a CSA Share to Support Arkansas Farmers

Community Supported Agriculture (CSA)

Support Arkansas Delta farmers

Heifer's Seeds of Change Initiative is about creating opportunities for producers here in the United States. The Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) program fulfills that mission by providing you with fresh produce from local farmers.

CSA pickup

Fall season shares are available now! Here's how a CSA works: you buy a share of a crop, such as cabbage, tomatoes, or peppers (the full list of crops, along with the growing schedule, is available in the "More Info" button below). Each week, you pick up fresh produce delivered to a convenient location in Little Rock.  When you buy a CSA share, you strengthen our communities. You're giving local growers a chance at better access to markets, which means they're better able to support their families. You get farm-fresh produce, and directly give a hand to smallholder farmers here in Arkansas. It's win-win!

To sign up, simply go to www.foodshedfarms.com and click the Sign Up button. If you're already a Foodshed Farms member, you can also access your account by visiting the website. Be sure to click the drop down menu that reads "Spring 2014" and change it to "Fall 2014."

For more information email csa@heifer.org. Shares are limited, so please lend your support today.
