Milk and Eggs Alleviate Poverty – (Project # 27-0629-01). Włodawa is located in the east portion of Poland and borders Ukraine and Belarus. It is agriculturally and economically depressed area and has not been developed since much of the land is protected by national park laws. Project began in 2004, with HPI providing Simmental cows and chickens. The families use the milk and eggs mainly for their own consumption.
