The 2nd annual “Beyond Hunger: Feast in the Field” will benefit Heifer programs here in Arkansas and family farmers in Haiti. Guests will hear from speakers about the importance of sustainable agriculture and how they can make smart choices in supporting local farmers. At 5:27 p.m. on April 10, 2014, a 6.1-magnitude earthquake centered near Lake Managua in Nicaragua occurred. All Heifer International Nicaragua staff members are safe and sound, and they have taken security measures at the office.
